Chapter 4 Connecting and Using Accessories and Transducers
Getting Started with SCXI 4-4 www.ni.com
SCXI-13XX Terminal Blocks
An SCXI-13XX terminal block contains a number of labeled screw
terminals to which you can connect signal wires, along with a strain-relief
mechanism to prevent the connections from being inadvertently loosened.
The terminal block fastens directly to the front of the appropriate SCXI
module.
TBX Terminal Blocks
TBX terminal blocks provide DIN-rail mounted terminal blocks that you
cable to the front of your SCXI modules. Figure 4-1 shows a TBX cabled
to an SCXI module. Table 4-2 summarizes the TBX terminal blocks and
the SCXI modules for which they were designed. The TBX terminal blocks
are designed to mount on a DIN rail in a separate panel and provide easy
access to the screw terminals. These terminal blocks are functionally
equivalent to the SCXI-13XX terminal block counterparts.
