DSS CONSOLE
The 64BD DSS Console can be connected to the eighth extension port of
each 308M, 308E or 008E unit, i.e. ports 8, 16 or 24 only. Single-pair (2
wire) cabling is required to the outer pair (pins 1 and 4). Three consoles can
be connected in total when two port expansion cards (308E/008E) are
installed. The associated extension for each DSS Console is assigned in
system programming..

• When a DSS Console is used, the associated Key Telephone should be
desk mounted in the low position.
