If you have not yet personalized your password, type password for the password.
4. Select Setting > Wireless.
5. Change the WiFi settings as described in the following table:
Setting Description
Region Selection
Region From the Region menu, select the region in which you operate the extender.
Note: If you purchased the extender in the United States or Canada, the selection
from the Region menu is North America. You cannot change this selection.
Ethernet ports to WiFi
use the following band
Specify if the Gigabit Ethernet ports on the rear panel of the extender connect to
the 2.4 GHz band or the 5 GHz band by selecting one of the following radio
buttons:
• 2.4GHz.
The Gigabit Ethernet ports connect to the 2.4 GHz WiFi band. This is
the default setting.
• 5GHz

The Gigabit Ethernet ports connect to the 5 GHz WiFi band.
