Enable the Syslog Server
You can enable the syslog option if your LAN includes a syslog server. If syslog is enabled,
the wireless access point sends its syslog files to the syslog server.
To enable a syslog server:
1. Select Configuration > System > Advanced > Syslog.
Specify the settings as explained in the following table:
2. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
Monitor the Wireless Access Point
The following sections describe how you can monitor the wireless access point:

Setting Description
Enable Syslog Select the check box to enable the syslog option. By default, the syslog option
is disabled.
Syslog Server IP Address Enter the IP address of the syslog server to which the wireless access point
sends the syslog files.
Port Number Enter the port number that is configured on the syslog server. The default port
number is 514.
