4.3 Electrical Installation
This section provides in more detail the proper electrical installation procedure for the KRM2000
TM
.
The intent of this section is to provide the user/installer with the most typical connection schemes
available to this device. It is not possible to present all of the available connection types in this
manual.

PERSONNEL ONLY. ALL LOCAL AND NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODES THAT APPLY SHALL BE
FOLLOWED. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN EQUIPMENT DAMAGE.
CAUTION: TO PREVENT DAMAGE OR INJURY, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT ALL
PROCEDURES ARE FOLLOWED AS STATED IN THIS MANUAL DURING THE
INSTALLATION/OPERATION OF THIS PRODUCT.
4.3.1 Relay Outputs, Receiver
There are three relay outputs that can be utilized for status indication. The Malfunction (MF) and
Ground Fault (GF) relays are Form A (NO) style contacts. The Service relay is also a Form A
contact, but is operated as a NC contact. When power is applied, the contact will close during
normal operation. If power is removed or an internal error has been found, then the contact will
open.
