  If the date and time are incorrect on your Nikon Digital Camera recordings, it may be because the camera clock has not been set. If the camera clock has not been set, the 'Date not set' indicator blinks during shooting and movie recording, and pictures and movies recorded before setting the clock are dated '00/00/0000 00:00' or '01/01/2010 00:00'. To resolve this, set the correct time and date from the Date option in the setup menu. Also, check the camera clock regularly against more accurate timepieces and reset as required.
