(4-4) Nosepiece Reverse Rotation
(See DS-L3 Chapter 6 “5.4 Disabling the Reverse Rotation of the Nosepiece”.)
Since the focal depth of the objective with low magnification is deep, the objective may get too closer to a specimen. If the
objective is switched to a high magnification objective in this case, the tip of the objective may contact the specimen. This
setting is to disable the rotation of the sextuple nosepiece from Address 1 to the next address 6, and the rotation of the
septuple nosepiece from Address 1 to the next address 7.
In order to limit the reverse rotation, a motorized nosepiece must be attached.

A sample can be observed by microscope while switching two
objectives set in advance alternately using the toggle function.
Use the Rotate nosepiece/Rotate nosepiece reversely button fo
r
the microscope main body or ergo controller to switch the
objectives. You can set two patterns for the objectives to be
used with the toggle function: “Toggle pattern 1” and “Toggle
pattern 2”.
In order to set the toggling of the nosepiece, a motorized
nosepiece must be attached.

“Toggle operation off”
Pressing the [SET] button under the [NOSEPIECE TOGGLE]
opens the screen for setting a toggle pattern. Specify a pair of
objectives.
