4.2 Notes on operation
4.2.1 Function of the display and operating elements
Display and control unit
Function: Conguration of the Nordmann RC4/DC4
Indication of operating parameters
Reset of maintenance counter
red LED “Error”
Function: The LED lights in case of a severe malfunction of the
unit (Fault status). Further operation is not possible
any longer. The fault message is shown in the display,
see chapter 6).
The LED ashes alternately with the green LED if
the external safety chain (ventilation interlock has
triggered) is open. As soon as the safety chain is
closed again, the indication disappears.
yellow LED “Maintenance”
Function: The LED lights if the steam cylinder must be replaced.
green LED “Steam”
Function: The LED lights if the unit produces steam.
The LED ashes alternately with the red LED if
the external safety chain (ventilation interlock has
triggered) is open. As soon as the safety chain is
closed again, the indication disappears.
Drain key
Function: Starting and stopping manual draining of the steam
cylinder.
Unit switch
Function: Switches the unit on and off. The switch is illuminated
when the unit is running.
