The table below provides a quick reference and overview of the tasks you can accomplish in the each screen.
Screen Tasks
Installation Wizard Run this wizard to change essential network communication parameters, or to replace an
existing TPC in the field.
Network Change the IP Address assigned to this TouchPoint Console.
TPC Name Set a unique name for TPC that will be used by the Equitrac Professional server to identify the
unique properties of TPC.
Date, Time, Locale Establish the time zone, time, date and soft keyboard layout.
Display, Audio Customize the audio and visual aspects of TPC to suit the environment in which TPC will
operate.
External Serial Device
Interface
Configure an external proximity or magstripe device.
Copy Device Modify and troubleshoot copy pulse detection parameters.
About View platform, software, serial number, IP Address information, etc. that may be useful when
troubleshooting.
Meter Counts View the copy meter counts to compare these counts with the copier counts.
Fax Device Configure the fax device settings for the device controlled by TPC (if fax is available on the
controlled device). Capture field diagnostics related to fax activity on the device.
TouchScreen Calibration Adjust the touchscreen calibration to re-establish the touch parameters.
Service Banner Create a custom message that is displayed on the Login screen to notify users of events or
system difficulties.
Reboot Force TPC to reboot.
System Logging Control the logging parameters when troubleshooting communication or performance
concerns.
