2.7 Expansion Connectors
The developer system includes Mini-SAS connectors for one PCIe x8 or two PCIe x4. It also
includes a H-MTD Double connector with two connection pairs. The upper connection pair of
this H-MTD Double connector is used for 10Gbit Ethernet. These connectors can be used for
system expansion to allow two or four developer systems being connected for achieving a
much higher system performance. These connectors are shown in Figure 2-8.
