Chapter 3. Environmental Requirements
3.1 Shock and Vibration
The developer system should not exceed the shock and the vibration constraints summarized
below.
Mechanical Shock Constraints:
Half Sine Wave at 50 G, 6 ms duration
10 shocks in Z-direction, with system mounted horizontally and the bottom tray facing
downwards.
Mechanical Vibration Constraints:
Excitation with wide-band random vibration
RMS value of acceleration: 2.833 Grms
Frequency range is 10-1000 Hz following ISO16750
3.2 Temperature and Humidity
The developer system should be operating and stored within a certain temperature range.
The operating temperature refers to the external ambient temperature required for the
developer system to operate normally when it is powered and running.
The storage temperature refers to the external temperature of the developer system when
it is powered off and stored.
3.2.1 Operating Temperature
The developer system should be operating within the temperature range listed below.
