2.3.21 Power Supply Board and High Voltage/Sensor Board
(1) Remove the upper cover assy (see 2.3.1).
(2) Remove the lower base unit (see 2.3.4).
(3) Remove two screws 1 and the guide plate 2.
(4) Remove the AC inlet 3 from the guide plate 2.
(5) Remove the screw 4 and remove the grounding (earth) wire 5.
(6) Remove the connectors CN2 from power supply board 6 and CN1 from high voltage/sensor board 7.
(7) Remove ten screws 8, and remove the power supply board 6 and high voltage/sensor board 7.
(8) Remove the Insulation plate 9 from the base plate 0.
Notes : 1.
Be careful about the sensor (paper supply) when reinstalling the lower base.
2.
Make sure that no excessive force is applied to the power supply switch.
3.
When installing the power supply board onto the base plate, be careful not to bend the
base plate (it is desirable to place a block underneath it to prevent bending).
