Note 9: Paper that was once used on a machine, such as a printer, should not be used for the paper
cassettes.
Note10: *1: It is possible becoming to interval printing when consecutive print.
Note11: The paper cassette is used commonly in world-wide. In case of using the
Paper position out of Table 11, use the custom size function.
(b) Paper Out Sensor
Each of the standard auto feeder tray and optional auto feeder tray of C911/C931/C941
/Pro9541WT is equipped with a paper out sensor to notify users that the tray has run
out of paper.
(c) Cassette Paper Sizes and Capacities
The paper cassettes of the standard auto feeder tray and optional auto feeder tray of
C911/C931/C941/Pro9541WT can be loaded with 530 sheets of paper.
(d) Detection of Cassette Paper Sizes
Each paper tray of C911/C931/C941/Pro9541WT has a dial manually set.
(2) MPT Paper Sizes and Capacities
An MPT is installed as standard in C911/C931/C941/Pro9541WT. This feeder supports
special paper, including postcards, labels and envelopes, and special-size plain paper, as
well as paper sizes and types supported by the standard auto feeder tray (the 1st tray) of the
printer. The minimum paper size supported by the MPT is 64 x 89 mm in SEF orientation.
The MPT can be loaded with 300 sheets of standard paper (70 kg, 82 g/m
2
) (or 30-mm thick
or thinner other-than-that paper). The MPT has no paper out sensors, paper amount
indicators, paper near-end sensors or auto paper size detection equipment.
Banner paper (Width: 210mm, 297mm and 328mm, Length: 431.8mm~1320.8mm,
Thickness:71~110kg (83~128g/m2) should be fed page by page.
Note 1: Paper that has been stored in an appropriate temperature and humidity should be
used for the MPT.
Note 2: The manual-feed guide of the MPT should be adjusted so as that there is no space
between it and the paper for which it is used, and should not be so strongly pressed
against the paper as to curve the paper.
Note 3: More than one sheet of paper should be loaded in the MPT so as not to lie beyond
the arrow () marked on the manual-feed guide of the MPT.
Note 4: The MPT should not be loaded with paper sheets different in size, quality or weight
at a time.
Note 5: Before paper is added to the MPT, paper should be removed from the tray, and
thoroughly jogged together with the paper. Paper added to the MPT should be
loaded together with paper remaining in the tray.
Note 6: Warps of postcards or envelopes can cause improper insertion of them from the
MPT. Non-warped postcards should be used for the MPT. Warping of postcards
and envelopes should be corrected to within 2 mm to be used for the MPT.
Note 7: JIS Chou #3, Chou #4, Chou #40, Kaku #3, Kaku #6 and Kaku #8 envelopes should
be loaded in LEF orientation in the MPT, with their flaps unfolded. JIS Kaku #2
envelopes should be loaded in SEF orientation in it, with their flaps unfolded. The
other envelopes should be loaded in LEF orientation in it, with their flaps strongly
folded so as not to bulge.
