LANK
PAGES
OR
GARBLED
TEXT
PRINTED
Symptoms:
When printing via a USB or TCP/IP connection, you receive blank
pages or pages printed with a line of garbled text.
Cause:
This issue is normally caused by the data being sent to the printer
in binary format. The printer may not be able to understand data
in this format, and therefore may print blank pages or garbled
text.
Solution:
In your application’s print options, there may be an option to
send data as ASCII. Choose this option, and print your document.
For example, in Adobe Photoshop 7 or Adobe Photoshop CS:
1. Click the File menu and select Print with Preview.
2. Click the box Show More Options.
3. From the pop-up menu, choose Output.
4. From the pop-up menu Encoding, choose ASCII.
