Setting the media on the
take-up reel unit
Always use the take-up reel unit when printing on reective sheeting.
However, the take-up reel unit may not be used for test printing.
Note

If printing is performed without using the take-up reel unit, the performance of the drying operation cannot be
guaranteed.
Only the tension mode in the outer take-up direction is supported when printing on reective sheeting.

(TUR) unit.
Guide bar position
Leave the guide bar in the standby position.
Note

Taking up the media in tension mode with the guide bar in the usage position may cause the media to shift.
Take-up reel unit position
Print with the TUR unit pushed as far as it goes inside the printer.
