Printing on reflective sheeting
Drying operation
When printing on reflective sheeting, the drying operation used to dry the ink is performed after the printing
operation (scan operation) is completed.
The drying operation is carried out until the end of the printout has passed through the external dryer system.

Stops at the standby position
When the drying operation has nished, the media is rewound to the print standby position.
When printing multiple jobs consecutively, the drying operation is not performed until the end as mentioned
above, but the media is rewound and the next printing job is started in the middle of the drying operation.
Since the printed surface of the previous job will pass through the external dryer system while the next job is
being printed, this surface will be dried suciently.
To prevent the media from being rewound to the print standby position after the drying operation, set MEDIA
BACK MODE in the media preset menu to OFF.
The media may wrinkle if it is warmed by the external dryer system while being stopped. However, you may
reduce the wrinkles by placing the external dryer system away from the media for about 30 minutes.
After printing, the external dryer system turns o automatically when 20 minutes have passed.
