Color Trapping/Choking Feature
This feature is to address ink bleeding of trac colors printed on retroreective sheeting, by applying color trapping
on the design and then shrinking the shapes.

Open the design into FlexiPRINT & CUT
Authorized 3M Trac Edition for OKI.

Open the RIP and Print dialog for output.
Switch to the Advanced Options tab, select
the “choke spot color objects” option at
the bottom/left of the page and specify the
distance.

Send the le to Production Manager.
Note that the distance should probably be
smaller than illustrated left.

When the lines of the object are narrow, they may disappear when coloring the object with spot colors with the
Choke spot color objects option enabled.
In such a case, disable the Choke spot color objects option or specify the color for the narrow lines without using
spot colors.
