7.3.7 Print control board (PRCB)
1. Remove the rear cover.
See P.76
2. Remove the left cover.
See P.76
3. Disconnect all connectors and flat
cables from the printer control board.
4. Remove four screws [1] and remove
the printer control board [2].

5. Remove parameter chip (IC9) [1] from the printer control board.
NOTE
• When the printer control board (PRCB) has been replaced, be sure to remount
parameter chip (IC9). Remove parameter chip (IC9) from the old printer control
board and mount it on the new printer control board.
NOTE
• When mounting parameter chip
(IC9), align the notches (indicated
by “A” in the illustration).
NOTE
• When the printer control board is replaced with a new one, be sure to execute [BK
CLEAR].
