Import/Export Menu
The two models, printer model and multifunction model, that can use the import/
export function may have dierent congurations, such as dierent number of rolls
and ports.
The settings are transferred as follows when transferring all settings between
dierent models and models with dierent congurations.
(1) Transferring from a printer model to a multifunction model
When transferring all settings from a printer model to a multifunction model,
the settings supported by the printer model are transferred, but the settings of
function supported only by multifunction models, such as copy, submission and
scan, are set to their default values.
(2) Transferring between printers with dierent number of rolls
When transferring settings from a model with 2 rolls to a model with 4 rolls, the
settings for the rolls 3 and 4 that do not exist are set to the default values.
(3) Transferring between printers with dierent number of ports
When transferring settings from a model with 10 ports to a model with 20 ports,
the settings for the ports that do not exist are set to the default values.
