Replacing the Roll Paper

Paper ange
Rewind and remove the roll paper.
Turn the paper anges in the direction shown in
the gure. Rewind the roll paper until the end of
the paper appears.
Lift up the paper anges, and remove the roll
paper.

Knob
Release the paper anges, and remove
the roll paper.
Loosen the paper ange knobs by turning them
in the OPEN direction. Remove the paper anges
on both sides.
Note

To prevent the paper ange ends from being misaligned, do not turn the aper
ange knobs too much with excessive force.

Installing the Roll Paper
TIP

There is no dierence between the right and left paper anges. The
anges can be installed on either side.

Knob
Set the paper anges onto the roll
paper.
Insert the end of a paper ange onto the roll
paper tube. Fasten the ange by turning the
knob in the CLOSE direction.
Note

If a paper ange knob is too loose, the roll paper will move from side to side.
There will be a negative eect on printing. Fasten the knobs tightly.
