User authentication

One-time Password Authentication
One-time password authentication is a print mode authentication function. When
Print authentication is o, this function makes it possible to use print authentication
only with print data for which a one-time password has been added with the
printer driver.

One-time password authentication can be used under the following conditions.
- Print Authentication is set to O.
- A one-time password has been added to our ocal printer driver.
With the one-time password specied, the Printer operates as follows:
- With print function authentication (Print Authentication) set to O, any user
can print. When the printer receives a print job, the jobs are printed in the order
they are received.
- With such operation, the one-time password function is extremely useful when
printing data you do not want another user to see. Before printing such data,
set the one-time password with the authentication
sheet of the printer driver.
One-time passwords can be set freely by individual users and can also be changed
for each drawing.
Note

Set a unique one-time password so that it does not match another user’s
one-time password. Be aware that all the print data with that password will
be printed if multiple users coincidentally set the same password.
