5. Adjust the height of DP.
1) Loosen the nut.
2) For copy example 1:
Loosen the adjusting screw ( ).
For copy example 2:
Tighten the adjusting screw ( ).
3) Tighten the nut.
6. Refit the DP rear cover.

7. Remove the original mat.
8. Place the original mat with its hook and loop
fasteners up over the platen.
Align the original mat corner that has not
been surface cut with the rear left corner of
the platen.
9. Close the DP slowly to attach the original
mat.
10. Make a test copy again.
11. Repeat steps 3 to 10 above until the gap of
the trailing edge falls within the reference
values.
