Adjusting the image quality and exposure
TIPS
Often bright subjects (such as snow) will turn out darker than their
natural colors. Adjusting toward + makes these subjects closer to
their real shades. For the same reason, adjust toward - when
shooting dark subjects.
Pressing F when the monitor is turned
on and HISTOGRAM is set to FON
displays the histogram on the monitor.
If you press e while pressing F, the
monitor jumps to the menu for
changing the HISTOGRAM setting.

You can change the position of the histogram target mark.

The histogram cannot be displayed in M mode.
You can set the aperture by turning the control dial while holding
down
F
in
M
mode.

If the flash is used, the image brightness (exposure) may differ from
the intended brightness.
Exposure compensation cannot correct the image if the
surroundings of the subject are extremely bright or dark.
