2 Using the Buttons and Menus
Direct buttons
This camera is equipped with direct buttons for quick operation and setting
of various shooting and playback-related functions. The direct buttons have
different functions in the shooting mode and in the playback mode. Holding
down the direct buttons and turning the control dial allows you to make
settings for each function (such as selecting menu items or changing setting
values).
Certain function settings require the direct button to be pressed repeatedly.
Direct button operations
The procedure for making settings using the direct buttons and control dial is
shown below. The setting screens are displayed on the monitor when
pressing the direct button.
Ex: Using the flash mode button
1 Turn the control dial while
holding down # to select the
flash mode.
