(2) With the bearing depressed lightiy
to
the
microscope stand by hand, tighten the
right coarse adjustment knob by turning
it
clockwise. Finally, tighten it firmly
while holding
the
bearing with pliers
or
the
similar tool. (See Fig. 4-23)
NOTE:
Coarse adjustment knob AA784600 can·
not
turn smooth unless Gear

assembled
in
the
gear
mount
is
engaged
properly with Pinion

in
tightening the knob.
