6 Confirm that the high intensity mode indicator goes out and the light emitted from the
endoscope’s distal end decreases compared to the high intensity mode. (See
Figure 4.21)
7 Press the intensity mode button again and confirm that the high intensity mode is
restored.
8 Disconnect the endoscope from the output socket on the light source. Confirm that
the high intensity mode indicator is still lighting up.
9 Turn the light source OFF and turn it ON again. Confirm that the high intensity mode
indicator lights up.
10 Connect the endoscope that is compatible with the high intensity mode to the output
socket on the light source again. Confirm that the high intensity mode indicator is still
lighting up.
11 Press the brightness mode button and confirm that the “AUTO” indicator lights up.
(See Figure 4.19)
The intensity setting is automatically saved when the light source is turned OFF
and is recalled when the light source is turned ON again.
12 Press and hold the lamp button for about 1 second. The examination lamp turns OFF,
and lamp indicator “STBY” lights up.
