4.6 Checking the lamp usage indicator

NOTE
The lamp usage indicator displays the total operating hours of the examination
(xenon) lamp (e.g., “500 h” means 500 hours).
WARNING
Do not look directly into the distal end of the endoscope, the distal end of the light
guide cable, or the output socket of the light source when they are emitting light.
The intense light may cause eye injury.
4.6 Checking the lamp usage indicator
Check the lamp usage indicator. When the “500 h” indicator on the lamp usage
indicator lights up, replace the examination lamp with a new one as described in
Section 6.1, “Replacement of the examination (xenon) lamp”.
