5.6 Optical-digital observation

Optical-digital observation is available when the light source is used in combination with the video
system center (CV-190) and a videoscope.
• Do not rely on the optical-digital observation alone for primary detection of lesions
or for a decision regarding any potential diagnostic or therapeutic intervention.
• If the endoscopic image seems to be dark in the NBI observation, change to the
normal observation. Otherwise, an improper image may be obtained.

1 Check the available observation mode
indicators to confirm the available observation
modes.

2 If more than one of the available observation mode indicators is lighting up, press the
observation mode select button and select the desired optical-digital observation
mode. The observation mode selection indicators of the selected mode lights up.
