Preparation
Store the software data file for the version-up tool to a micro SD card.
Precautions for Correct Use
• Set a microSD card to be used for the update to the read/write status. Otherwise, the update
will not be successfully completed.
• When you use a SD card, check the software version of the Sensor Controller. It should be
Ver. 5.20 or later.

Do not apply any changes to the software data file. The tool will check its size stored in the
microSD card. If there are unnecessary files or folder in it, the update will fail.
1 Prepare the recommended microSD card.
2 Store the software data file for the version-up tool into the microSD card.
Precautions for Correct Use
Be sure to arrange a file of VerupXP.exe just under the microSD card. Otherwise, the update
will not start.
Updating the Version
Start the procedures in the state the Sensor Controller is turned off.
1 Turn off the Sensor Controller.
2 Insert the microSD card in which the version-up tool is stored to the Sensor Controller.
3 Turn on the Sensor Controller.
Blinking the BUSY indicator on the Sensor Controller indicates the start of the update.
Blinking the RUN indicator on the Sensor Controller indicates the successful completion of the update.
Turn off the Sensor Controller and restart it to check its operation.
