Measurement Data That Can Be Logged for OCR
Failure to Read Characters
• Failure to Read Characters during Teaching
• The read results may be unstable if the contrast is low. Adjust the brightness to improve the contrast.
• The characters may not be in the measurement region. Check to see if the measurement region is set cor-
rectly.
• The specified character format may not agree with the format of the read characters. Check the character
format.
Parameter Setting Description
Judgement −2: Not measured,
0: Judgement is OK,
−1: Judgement is NG,
−13: Teaching not performed error,
−14: Figure not registered error,
−15: Out of range error
−16: Measurement timeout error,
−17: Format not entered error
This is the judgement result.
Similarity 0 to 100 This is the lowest similarity of the read characters.
Stability 0 to 100 This is the lowest stability of the read characters.

0 to 32 This is the number of characters that were read on line 1.
Number of read characters on

0 to 32 This is the number of characters that were read on line 2.
Number of read characters on

0 to 32 This is the number of characters that were read on line 3.

Individual similarity 0 to 100 This is the similarity of read character N (N = 0 to 127).
Individual stability 0 to 100 This is the stability of read character N (N = 0 to 127).
