- PT operation status (bit 15)
When the NT31/NT31C is in the RUN mode, this bit is set to “1”. In other
modes, and when the System Menu screen is displayed, it is set to “0” (OFF).
When this bit is set to “0” (OFF), the allocated bits and words are neither read
or written.
During the RUN mode, “1” (ON) is periodically written to this bit. In order to
check whether the NT31/NT31C is operating normally or not, write “0” (OFF)
to this bit, then read it 30 seconds later. If the setting for the bit is “1” (ON), the
NT31/NT31C is judged to be running, and if it is “0” (OFF), the NT31/NT31C is
judged to be stopped.
Note To ensure system safety, be sure to periodically read the PT operating status bit
from the host in order to ensure that the PT is always operating normally.
