4-3-3 Wiring to MIL/Fujitsu Connectors
This section describes wiring for the Digital I/O Units with connectors.
Depending on the connector, the following methods are used to connect the Digital I/O Units with con-
nectors to external I/O devices.
• Use an OMRON Connecting Cable (equipped with a special connector) to connect to a terminal block
or relay terminal.
• Use a special connector and make your own cable.
• Do not apply voltages that exceed the rated value to any Input Unit.
• Do not apply voltages or connect loads to the Output Units or slaves in excess of the maxi-
mum ratings.
• Turn ON the power after checking the connector's wiring.
• Do not pull the cable. Doing so will damage the cable.
• Bending the cable too sharply can damage or break wiring in the cable.
• If the external power supply has polarity, connect it with the correct polarity. If the polarity is
reversed, current may flow in the reverse direction and damage the connected devices
regardless of the operation of the Unit.
The Digital I/O Units with 32 points and Fujitsu connectors have the same connector pin alloca-
tions as the C200H High-density I/O Units, CS-series I/O Units with connectors and CJ-series
I/O Units with connectors to make them compatible.
OMRON Connecting Cable can be used to connect Digital I/O Units with connectors to OMRON Con-
nector-Terminal Block Conversion Units or to OMRON I/O Relay Terminals.
