Problem Assumed cause Correction
When the output is ON,
nothing is output although
the output indicator is lit.
The I/O power is not supplied. Check that the I/O power is supplied.
The I/O power supply voltage
is outside the rated range.
Set the I/O power supply voltage within the rated
range.
The Unit is not wired correctly
with the connected external
device.
Check the wiring with the connected external
device.
The wiring to the connected
external device is discon-
nected.
Check the wiring with the connected external
device.
A connected external device
is defective.
Replace the connected external device.
Load short-circuit protection is
in progress.
Refer to 7-4-3 Load Short-circuit Protection on page
7-17 and correct the problem.
Although the output is ON,
nothing is output and the
output indicator is not lit
either.
A communications error
occurred.
Check if a communications (NX bus) error
occurred.
Cannot hold outputs when
NX bus errors or commu-
nications errors occur.
The load rejection output set-
ting is set to "OFF".
Set the load rejection output setting to "Hold the
present value".
Cannot clear outputs NX
bus errors or when com-
munications errors occur.
The load rejection output set-
ting is set to "Hold the present
value".
Set the load rejection output setting to "OFF".
