Precautions for Correct Use
Always use separate power supplies for the Unit power supply and the I/O power supply. If you
supply power from the same power supply, noise may cause malfunctions.

Refer to the hardware user’s manual for the Communication Control Unit for the designing of
the power supply to the CPU Rack of the Communication Control Unit.

Power Supply-related Units and Wiring Methods
The Communication Control Unit supplies the NX Unit power and I/O power to the NX Units in the
CPU Rack.
There are the following types of NX-series power supply-related Units other than Communication Con-
trol Unit.
Refer to NX-series catalogs or OMRON websites, or ask your OMRON representative for information
on the most recent lineup of NX Units.
