5. Connect an Ethernet cable between one of the server’s NET ports and the
network to which the server will communicate.
6. Determine the input power installation instructions you need, based on the
model or your server (AC or DC input power):
■ AC input power models–Continue to the next step.
■ DC input power models–See “Assembling and Installing DC Power Cables for
the Sun SPARC Enterprise T5140 Server” on page 81.
7. Plug the power cords into the power supplies and into a power source.
