TOP5 – Remote Operator Console
Ergonomic, bright and shock resistant. These are
the main features of the TOP5, the OSAI remote
operator console for industrial applications. The
TOP5 console ensures safety and ease of use,
together with several functions that allow a
complete control of the machine. Even though,
it leaves a complete freedom of movement to
the operator.
The remote operator console, equipped
with electronic handwheel, USB port and
32 customizable function keys, is supplied
with a 6.4" color display with Touch Screen.
Furthermore, the TOP5 is equipped with an
emergency push-button for the machine stop and
with two enabling push buttons. The two push-
buttons, which work in parallel mode, allow the
handle both to right and left-handed operators,
providing a high safety degree (three stages buttons to manage the conditions of console
disabled, running and electrocuted operator).
TOP5 is connected to the control system through VGA connections (display), USB,
RS232 (keyboard and handwheel) and direct wiring for emergency signals. Cables are
included and protected by a robust industrial sheath. TOP5 behaves as a remote monitor,
equipped with a Touch Screen that displays what requested by the controller to which
it is connected. When TOP5 is connected directly or through a PC to an OPENcontrol
CNC, it can be congured in a simple and intuitive way using the WinNBI (Windows™
Network Based Interface), the OSAI software designed for the development of graphical
user interfaces.
