The highly scalable OPENcontrol systems have performances that increase with OPEN-M,
OPEN-XL and OPEN-XLi models.
They can be tted with various types of axes cards for controlling digital servo-drives.
The axis cards, implementing the most modern eldbus, allow management of a wide
range of devices controlled by protocols:

EtherCAT (SoE and CoE profiles)

Mechatrolink III

Mechatrolink I & II

OS-Wire (custom OSAI)
and auxiliary busses like CANopen, Probus and Modbus.
The secondary eldbus is either implemented on the axes board and enabled by a software
option or supported with a secondary board.
The axis boards also provide local resources like:

Analog Output and Encoder Input to manage one axis

Analog Input

Digital Fast Input

Digital Fast Output
Furthermore, OPEN-M, OPEN-XL and OPEN-XLi can be combined with the same bridge
modules used by OPEN-XS (A-432, A-664, P-432, P-664) to manage analog or Pulse &
Direction axes.
