Troubleshooting
and Reference
Notes:
If pressing the [REC] button or entering a recording trigger fails to start
recording, the [REC] lamp blinks at a high rate.
The [BUSY] lamp blinks when accessing the P2 card immediately after
opening or closing the recorder’s P2 card slot cover.
Indicator Lamps and Recorder Status
(continued)
1 Inserting a P2 card that displays a “RUNDOWN” On Screen status display (see
“Viewing Live Video Viewing the status of this unit” on pages 60, 61) will
cause the [READY] lamp to blink.
2 The [REC] lamp normally blinks under the following conditions:
When there is little space left (about 30 minutes or less) on a P2 card
When the number of files recorded on the P2 cards inserted in slots 1 and 2
totals over 19,000 (up to 20,000) files
When the maximum number of recording files per day approaches (depends
on format type). See “Format” on page 86 for details.
When the remaining recording days is less than 5% of the total recording days
of all P2 cards inserted in P2 card slots 1 and 2.
3 For details on how to run the PC application, refer to the operating instructions
supplied with the PC application.
4 If the error is related to the status of the P2 card, the status will appear in the
status display of the On-Screen. Refer to “Viewing Live Video Viewing the
status of this unit” on pages 60 and 61, or contact your supplier.
