4-2. Understanding Focus assist features
The AG-DVX200 is equipped with following focus assist features to make focusing easier when
recording 4K/UHD higher resolution formats.
How to use
1. Assign a FOCUS ASSIST function to any assignable USER buttons.
(MENU > USER SWITCH > any USER button number: FOCUS ASSIST)
2. Choose assist type to be recalled with the USER button.
(MENU > SWITCH SETTING > FOCUS ASSIST: EXPAND / PEAKING / BOTH)
EXPAND
Part of image can be magnified up to 10
times (x2, x5, x10).
The position to be magnified can be
specified by tapping the touch screen).
Image magnification turns OFF when the
REC button is hit.
PEAKING
Adding colored highlights to in-focus edges.
Highlighting level can be adjusted and its
color can also be selected from four different
colors:
MENU
> SWITCH SETTING > PEAKING COLOR
(Parameter: Red, Blue, Yellow, White)
> SWITCH SETTING > PEAKING LEVEL:
(Parameter: -7 – 0 – +7)
