Call Transfer — to Extension
Allows you to transfer the call you received to another extension. There are two ways.
Screened Call Transfer: The destination confirms the transfer before you send it.
Unscreened Call Transfer: The line is released after transferring the call without
confirmation.
Screened Call Transfer
During a conversation;
1. Flash the hookswitch.
• The other party is placed on hold.
• You hear a confirmation tone and then a dial tone.
2. Dial the extension number where the call will be transferred.
• You hear a ringback tone.
3. Wait for an answer and announce.
4. Hang up.
• The call is transferred.
Unscreened Call Transfer
During a conversation;
1. Flash the hookswitch.
• The other party is placed on hold.
• You hear a confirmation tone and then a dial tone.
2. Dial the extension number where the call will be transferred.
• You hear a ringback tone.
• Ringing starts at the destination extension.
3. Hang up.
