NOTE: To cancel the conference and return to the first party, press the Cancel softkey at the
bottom of the screen. Next, press the Resume softkey to resume the call with the first party
(Figure 5-20).

3. After the second party answers and you are ready to begin the conference call, press the
CONFERENCE button again to add the original party to the conversation. You are then speaking
with both parties at once.
4. To add a third party to the conference, repeat steps 1 through 3 above.
Checking Voicemail
When you have a new voicemail message, the Panasonic KX-UTG 300B phone displays an envelope on
the screen and the message waiting indicator light on the upper-right of the phone turns solid red. You
will also hear a stutter when you go off-hook or press the SP-PHONE or HEADSET button.
NOTE: The phone does not display the number of voicemail messages you have. The number
that appears to the right of the envelope is the number of missed calls, which may or may not
be the same as the number of voicemail messages you have.
