Using a PCMCIA Adaptor (optional)
If your PC has a PCMCIA type II slot, you can insert the CompactFlash Card into a
PCMCIA adaptor (optional, page 76) to transfer images, captured with this Carncorder
only, to your PC.
Before you begin...
Turn your PC on.
° Set CamcorderPOWERto OFF,

Remove the CompactFlash Card
from the Camcorder (page 49).
Hold the CompactFlash Card so that
the arrow side faces up and points
toward the PCMCtA Adaptor.
Securely insert the ca'rd into the
PCMCIA Adaptor slot as far as it will
go.

Hold the PCMCIA Adaptor so that
the arrow side points toward the
PCMCIA type II slot of your PC
(Personal Comput_Ht__J.Securely
insert the PCMCIA Adaptor as far as
it will go.
Depending on the PC, it may
be necessary to turn the PCMCiA
Adaptor upside down in order to
insert the card.
To remove, push the eject button on
your PC (may vary by machine) and
pull the PCMCIA Adaptor out until it
is no longer inserted in the PC
{Personal Comp_u/;er).
Pull tl_e CompactFlash Card out of
the PCMCIA Adaptor,
Note:
Do nor remove the PCMCIA Adaptor from the
PC while the PC is working or while image
data is being transferred between the
CompactFlash Card and the PC (including
operationsuch as opening and storing
images), this will cause irreversible damage to
the memory.
If you change file name or folder in the CF
card, the images will be displayed properlyon
PHOTO mode.
