Manual Focus Adjustment
FOCUScan be adjusted manuallyfor recording in
a situationwhere auto focus may not function
well,
1 Set the [AUTO/MANUAL/FOCUS] Switch
to [MANUAL].

2 Slide the [AUTO/MANUAL/FOCUS] Switch

Turn the FOCUS Ring (_ to adjust the
focus.

Press the [_ll_] Button _ or [<14] Button
(_ to adjust the focus.
• If you keep pressing the [NI_] Button or [-_1]
Button, the speed Of adjusting will be faster.
To Resume Automatic Adjustment
Set the IAUTOIMANUAL/FOCUS] Switch to
[AUTO] or[FOCUS].
Using the Built-in Flash
(PV-GS200 only[
The Built-in Flash enables you to record still
pictures in a dark place. The Flash lights twice to
detect the surrounding luminosity and to light
properly.
1 Set [TAPE RECORDING MENU] or
[CARD RECORDING MENU] >> [CAMERA]
>> [FLASH[ >> [ON] or [AUTO].
elf [AUTO] is selected, the Flash can be
lighted if light is needed by sensing the
surrounding luminosity.
2 Slide the [{=_] Lever (_.
• The Flash pops up.
3 Press the [STILL] Button (_.
• Flash is lighted and the im;.tgo becomes still.
4 Press the [PHOTO SHOTJ Button (_D or
Recording Start/Stop Button @.

Adjusting Brightness of the Flash
Set LTAPE RECORDING MENU[ or
[CARD RECORDING MENUI >> [CAMERA] >>
[FLASH LEVEL] >> a desired Flash Lovel,
• Normally, set it to [NORMAL]. [The [{]
Indication appears,)
• If the bifghtness is not enough in [NORMAL]
setting, set it to [+] (the [_+] Indication
appears), if it is too much, set it to [-] (the [_-]
Indication appears).
