Deleting the Files Recorded on a Formatting a Card

If ;.t Card becomes Llnreadablc by the Camcorder,
Using thc Camcorder, you can delcta the files
recorded on a Card. After the file is delofcd, it
cannel be rostared,
To Select and Delete Files or Titles
1 Set [PICTURE/MPEG4 PLAYBACK MENU[
>> [DELETE] >> [FILE BY SEE] >> [YES],

wTo cruse a title in
[PICTURE PLAYBACK MENU], select
[TITLE BY SELJ.
2 Select the file you wish to delete and press
the [ENTER[ Button C_.
wTho selo_ed picture is marked with a frame.
wTo cruse 2 files or more, repeat this stop.
3 Press the [PHOTO SHOT] Button _.
• A verification mossago appears,
4 Select [YES[ and press the [ENTER[ Button

• The selected file is deleted from the Card.
• If INO] is selected, the file selection is
cancollcd,

>> [DELETE] >> [ALL FILES[ >> [YES].

are erased.

• If there are many files in a card, if takes
several minutes for deleting.

• When the formafting is completed, the scrcon
becomes white.
• It may not be possible to use a Card formatted
by fhis Camcorder on ancfhor unif. In fhis case,
format the Card on fhe unit which will be using
the Card. Makc sure that valuable pictures are
stored on PC before prcocoding.
• A Card formatted on cfher equipmcnf (e.g. PC)
might be unusable or ii mighf ta_:emore time for
recording. We recommend thaf you use this
equipmenf to format fho Card.
