• Variable Speed Search Function
The speed of Cue Playback or Review Playb;.tok
can be varied.
1 During playback, press the [Ib] Button (_.
wTho [1x _i Indication appoars.
2 Push the [-VOIJJOG÷] Lever (_ to select
a desired search speed.
The following 6 playback speeds are available for
the Vari;.tblo Speed Search Function in both the
Past-forwarding and rewinding diroclions:
1/5× (slow playback in SP Mode only), 1/3x
(slow playback: in LP Mode only), 1X, 2x, 5x,
10x and 20×.
eThis function works by pressing the
[VAR. SEAI_CH] and [Tj or [W] Button on the
Remote Controller. (-If.-)
TO Resume Normal t_laybaek
Press the [IbjButton @.
eDurinp Cue or Review Playback, fast-moving
imagos may show mosaic-like patterns.

Slow Motion Playback
This Camoordor c;._nplay back at a slow speed.
1 Press the [Ib] Button (_.
2 Press the [_t] Button or [1_] Button _ on
the Remote Controller,
eTho [|_>] or [<31JIndic;.ttion appears.
• When the [_t] Button is pressed, Slow Motion
Playback proceeds in the revoroo direction.
When the [I,_JButton is pressed, Slow Motion
Playback proceeds in the forward direction.
Scones recorded in the SP Mode are played back
at approximately 1!5th of the normal speed.
Scones recorded in the LP Mode arc played back
at approximately 1!3rd of the normal speed.
To Resume Normal Playback
Pro.1_sthe [1_] Button _3.
If the C;.lrncordor is left in the Slow Motion
Playback Mode for more than 10 minutes, the
Carnoorder switches to the Stop Mode to
protect the video heads from excessive wear
and tear.
Still Playback/Still Advance
Playback
This Camcordor iscap;.tble of still picture
playback and frame-advance playback.

2 Press the [I I] Button (_.
eTho playback image stops in tho Still
Playback Mode,
3 Press the [_1] Button or [1_] Button _ on
the Remote Controller,
eWith O;.loh preSS of the [_11]Button, still
pictures advance in the reverse direction.
With o;.loh press of the [1_] Button, still
pictures advance in the forward dirocIion. If
one of the buttons continues to be pressed,
still pictures advance continuously 1 frame at
a time until the button is released.
To Reeume NotTnal Playbael_
Press the [1_] Button _3.
• Playback wilh Volume/Jog Lever
By pushing the [-VOL/JOG+] Lover _ of the
Camcordor in the Still Playback Mode, still
picicros can be advanced one fmrno at a time in
the forward or backward direction. If you keep
pushing the Lover, still piciuros advance
continuously.
If the Carncorder is left in the Still Playback
Modo for more than S minutes, tho Carncordor
switches to the Stop Mode to protect the video
