Digital Test
Access Digital Test from the second-level menu of the
T
est branch. Diagnostics ( Diag ) must be set to None
from the Confg branch first. To set the amount of time
for the Digital T
est ( DT):
. Procedure
1.
Select DSU from the DSU or DBM selection
screen; the DSU T
ests selection screen appears.
PRESS: 4 – DT
2. The DSU Digital T
est selection screen appears.
PRESS: 1 – Start
3. The Port Number selection screen appears.
PRESS: 2 – Prt1
4. The DSU Digital T
est Run T ime input screen
appears. The hhh:mm:ss must be fully populated
as shown below .

Ctrl–T=T op Menu
Ctrl–U= Up Menu
Ctrl–V=View H/S
ENTER Input Form of (hhh:mm:ss):000:08:00
Ctrl–x = Disconnect
5. Enter the run time for the Digital T est and press
the carriage return <CR>. The following
message appears on the screen: Please wait.
6. The Digital T
est completion screen appears.

Display Screens
Display screens provide configuration information
and results of performance and device-specific tests. All
information is presented on one async terminal screen.
The Health and Status display shown below can be
accessed by:
• Using selection screens and the menu tree path
• Ctrl-V from input screens
• V from all other screens
