<Raising the side-rail>
1. Raise the side-rail and push in until it clicks into
place.
2. Pull the side-rail toward you to make sure that
the side-rail is locked.
<Lowering the side-rail>
1. Use one hand to hold the grip of the side-rail and
push it to the back (toward the center of the bed).
2. While pushing it to the back, use the other hand
to pull the operation lever toward you and, while
supporting the side-rail, lower the side-rail until it
stops.

Operation of the operation lever can be disabled by
pulling up the Release Guard until the orange part
cannot be seen.
