Issue Cause Solution
No conditioned
water after
regeneration.
No brine in brine tank. Add brine to brine tank.
Injector plugged.
Clean the injector and screen. See

Backwashes or
purges at
excessively low or
high rate.
Incorrect drain controller used. Replace with correct size controller.
No drain line flow controller.
Install drain line flow controller. See
5.7. Drain line flow controller, page 23.
Restricted drain line. Remove restriction.
Run out of
conditioned water
between
regenerations.
Controller improperly programmed.
Verify salt dosage and regeneration
interval settings. See 6. Programming,
page 28.
Flow indicator on
