9.2.7. Lower piston and/or seal and spacer kit replacement
Caution
Use only approved silicone grease or soapy water.
9.2.7.1 Special tools needed
No. Operation
A Using a flat screwdriver, unscrew (1) and open the cover (2).
B Using a pliers, remove the connecting pin (5).
C Using a 6 mm Allen key, unscrew (3) and remove the lower power head (4).
D Using a pliers, remove the piston (8).
E Using a small hook, remove a lower seal (10).
F Using the puller, remove a thin lower spacer (6).
G Using a small hook, remove a lower seal (10).
H Using the puller, remove the large lower spacer (7).
I Using a small hook, remove a lower seal (10).
J Using the puller, remove a thin lower spacer (6).
K Using a small hook, remove a lower seal (10).
L Put some lubricant on each new seals (10).
M Lubricate the piston o-ring (9).
N Using the puffer, follow A to K in reverse order to rebuild.
