Getting Started

Press the battery lock lever in the direction of 4 and
insert the battery so that the PENTAX logo is facing
toward the lens.
Match the marks on the battery to the marks inside the battery
compartment and push the battery in until it is locked in place.

Close the battery/card/terminal cover.
Slide the battery/card/terminal cover in the opposite direction indicated
by 2. If you hear a click, the cover is securely closed.

Open the battery/card/terminal cover.

Press the battery lock lever in the direction of 4.
The battery will be ejected. Take care not to drop the battery when
removing it.
Make sure that the battery is inserted with the PENTAX logo pointing
toward the lens. If the battery is incorrectly oriented, malfunction may
result.
